Romans 2

Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? (Romans 2:4)

When God does not act, it seems to suggest that God is okay with what I am doing....

God's kindness is meant to lead me to repentance....

What if I am not doing okay now.... but God is silent, because He is hoping I would turn my footsteps around?

How do I know?

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)

I have only one solution for myself now - that is to stay as close to God as I can, in His words and in prayers, holding onto Him; although I know that He sees my heart and He might not be too pleased, I'm not gonna let go. At this moment, with regards to my faith, my mind shall be over my heart. Even though I don't feel this way anymore, I know this way, and with this knowing, I'm clinging on to His promise and His might, that He would deliver me out of whatever I have to go through.

Romans 1 - Beautiful

For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. (Romans 1:20-21)

To be able to see God in nature.

To see the beauty of God in nature.

How many of us can, or actually do?

But be careful... Nature is not God. We don't stand in awe of the beauty of nature and then bow before it.

We behold the beauty in nature, and through it, stand in awe of a Creator God who has such an eye for beauty and details. That shows He wasn't hasty when He created the world. And He definitely wasn't hasty when He created us.

For You formed my inward parts;
         You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
         Marvelous are Your works,
         And that my soul knows very well.
(Psalms 139:13-14)
